Then why the fuck is he bitching about not being able to give the whole URL as a clickable link? 2. tinyurl is the Lycos of URL shorteners. Sure, some people might still remember it, but everyone's moved on!
And, pray tell, what have they moved on to? Make a shorter link? :). I don't trust those two letter code ones, there's one called 'bit.ly' which means it's in the Libya country domain, if there's ever a problem and Libya gets re-declared an evil country, your ownership of a link becomes useless because you can't spend money in a country declared by the U.S. Government to be evil like North Korea or Cuba unless you get State Department permission in advance, so your links now become worthless.
