[REVIEW] MEAL, Ready To Eat

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

You order the MEAL. It is $89 for a 12-pack of MEALS, which everyone agrees is insane.

Then you CONSUME THE MEAL.

...

You have 11 left. Get crackin'! Not sure if you want another one? Here's a picture!

Do these MEALS have any particular flavor?

Heh, not for me. There's no "me" in "meal".

Wait ... actually there is.

Shit.

We're all going in on a box of MEALS. And we will eat our MEALS at the same time.

Pinback tells me the magic was lost when he was informed what was actually in them. Is that the case for anyone else? Do I have to remain silent (the Iraqi press would love that) for the magic of the MEAL to be sustained?

I am proud to announce that I have discovered what the mystery meat in "meals" is.

In an alternate universe, I am a superhero and my super power is the ability is to kill threads with a single post.

In this universe I can do the same thing, except I'm not a superhero.

Pinback and I agreed that you won the thread, but I can't find the log. In my defense, in terms of not continuing the thread, I haven't needed to eat since I threw down that MEAL.

I would like a picture post detailing your enjoyment of a MEAL.

Whenver I get money again, I'm pulling the trigger on a MEAL.

Will you enjoy one with me? HEY PINBACK PUT KAT ON THE LINE. Tell her I want to know if we can all get together one night and simultaneously eat a MEAL.

2013 seems like a good time to order a MEAL.

as someone who has eaten many a MEAL I can wholeheartedly recommend them for camping, car-breakdowns, and anytime you want hot food with zero effort. The best MEALs are these: http://www.armygear.net/ag/store/00231.html?id=vccsqnfi but they tend to come and go as inventory falls off trucks and is sold.

I thought that when it was 2013 I'd have more motivation to eat better. New year and everything. Instead, I feel exactly like I did yesterday.

Nobody will just sell ya one meal on the Internet. It's always 12 for $65 or something.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that you had to eat these things all the time. Were you in the military, or did you have really strict parents?

phpBB can NOT handle this link, because the people who made it are horrible people who deserve to die:

http://beprepared.com/quickshoplist.asp ... 0to%20Eat)

The repack MEALs are going to be the things no one wants to buy separately, but you can fake the experience by ordering an entree, side and dessert that seems the most appealing.

For extra fun and a chance to burn your self/house, get a heater. Otherwise they heat fine in some hot water or a microwave.

They don't really taste bad. If you're willing to eat a frozen meal, chinese buffet, or chili from a can it's about the same.

As part of my descent into a truly loathsome individual I realized why bother going to the store when you could just keep a case or 2 of these in the house. There's always food, it never goes bad, and you never have to talk to single human being! (please kill me)

On the bright side, I am almost finished with the 25lb sack of dried potatoes I ordered so long ago I can't even remember. ProTip: 16 gallons of dehydrated potato will reconstitute to around 50 gallons of real potato! Hope you like mashed potatoes, FOREVER.
