Arrrghh!!!

Looks like I blew it. We only have five teams and the games start tonight. I apologize, guys. I thought I could drum up more demand, but a lot of people that I know locally are already in multiple leagues, and there wasn't quite the web presence I was hoping for.

We can get going on hockey or something if I can find more interested parties. A bunch of my friends and I used to do it all the time, but we got so involved in football that we kind of let it slide. I apologize again -- I let you and this BBS down.

Hey, that's OK. Gave me an excuse to get back into football a bit and see what's been going on. So this season will be more amusing as I know a few players again. It's got really hard to follow with the salary cap movement.

Hockey I don't care for. Baseball and basketball I follow more closely than football.

An aside -- the SIZE of these guys today. I hate to admit it but I remember when 300 pound players were rare. Sherman Plunket played for the Jets. He went 305, I think and he was a fat guy!
