He should retire immediately. This is embarrassing, and even his most die hard fan (me) must now admit that the run is over, and he may never regain competitive form again.

Okay, I'll bite. Why? Has his playing suffered? That he can't keep his pants on has nothing to do with how he plays golf.
I mean, I find Bill Clinton personally to be a greasy con man who also couldn't keep his philandering private, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact he was the first president in over 50 years to have two years of a balanced budget with a surplus. The guy in New York had to turn the debt clock off (until Dubya showed up) because it had no means to run backward.
So why should Tiger retire?
