Post by RetroRomper »

With at least four of us (Flack, Pinback, ICJ, myself) gunning for HEALTH in the New Year, shall we have another F.A.C?

Okay! Anyone else in for a Feb. 1st to May 1st contest?

Even if no one else enters, I'll be posting my progress and playing against myself.[/i]

I actually can't start until tomorrow. Super Bowl, beer, buffalo wings, that sort of thing.

Aside from Gerrit, are you guys pretending you're going to update for more than two weeks after it starts? Just want to make sure I get into the right frame of mind for this.

I haven't lost anything in four months but I've also not gained. I will say this, I no longer have strong feelings for food like I used to. Maybe it's because I can't cook and the restaurant experience is just me getting the lowest calorie thing instead of what I "want," but food doesn't do it for me any more.

I think it points to a more general sense of not enjoying life as much as I used to. So maybe that can help out. Just give up on achieving any of your goals or dreams.

Being so very much out of the habit of doing so, I have failed to remember to weigh-in. What shocking, shameful numbers are the rest of you guys clocking in at?

(To be fair, I am wearing a hoodie AND I ate half a sandwich. I've never seen it that high.)

Can I join? Go ahead and delete me if I can't join. Last time I did this I lost 14 lbs, so Ima try and do that again. Last year, due to an annoying health issue, I unavoidably had to gain much weight. Last week, I joined a gym.

Starting weight: 168.5

Yesterday, a week (and 1 Superbowl party) later: 165

Why don't you focus on escaping the gulag first, Shecky.

I pooped mightily since then and am now down to a much more normal 125.2.
