RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!! RG3!!!
No you wouldn't, because RG3 isn't the most worthless, bottom-feeding scumsucker on the face of the Earth.Tdarcos wrote: You'd think he was Dan Snyder, the owner of the team rather than just one of the players.
To the extent that this is true, it's because the team was generally always pretty good when JKC owned the team, and the team was generally stacked with quality talent.you only heard this level of talk-talk about Cooke, never about any of the team's players.
I almost missed the last line, I was going to ask you why you were eating Barf-in-the-bo... err, I mean Jack-In-The-Box food. This also says something; the NFL website says the last time Frerotte was with the 'Skins was fourteen years ago.pinback wrote:The greatest stat I heard about this week's game was that it was the first home game they'd won on Monday Night Football since GUS FUCKING FREROTTE was the quarterback. Oh my God I just blasted chunky vomit all over the screen thinking about Gus Frerotte.
(I also just ate a Jumbo Jack, though.)
That's right, TDR! So you can see how any hint of hope for this once-great franchise is being jumped on with much fervor and excitement.Tdarcos wrote:I almost missed the last line, I was going to ask you why you were eating Barf-in-the-bo... err, I mean Jack-In-The-Box food. Like an inexpensive hooker in Vegas, no doubt.pinback wrote: That's right, TDR! So you can see how any hint of hope for this once-great franchise is being jumped on with much fervor and excitement.
True, but then there could never be a good black quarterback with the initials CGA.Flack wrote:I am in Atlanta this week with a bunch of people from DC. They were all talking about RG3 at lunch the other day and I was kind of out of earshot and I was like, "hell yeah, RGB is awesome! So much better than CGA was!"
Not yet, you mean. Could be there's someone named Charles/Carl/Chad George/Garrett/Gary/Guy Aaron/Abernathy/Adams who's in elementary/middle school now (or enters high school next year) and might grow up to become a potential pro ball player.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:True, but then there could never be a good black quarterback with the initials CGA.Flack wrote:I am in Atlanta this week with a bunch of people from DC. I know what I did wrong, I was kind of tired when I wrote it, I forgot to add that if he said we're not going to find a quarterback whose initials were XGA that would be likely. Maybe we'll find one whose initials are HD, otherwise we might have to settle for VGA instead.AArdvark wrote:Sigh.....
Sprained knee. Nigga will be back out there next week. (I say "nigga" in the sense of, you know, a bro who can man up and get shit done, not in the sense of he is black.)Tdarcos wrote:Well, it's all over, the Redskins are in the toilet. Sure, they won the game after RG3's right leg had to be amputated, but until he can get it glued back on and learn to walk again, they're dead.
Seriously, the thing is, the opening item on the evening news is how Griffin got sacked - or whatever it is when you're knocked down if his position is not considered sacked - and the video of him getting knocked down. I think he was fortunate that his right leg was in the air when he got hit, rather than being spiked into the ground. I suspect the injury will be less serious than if he had been standing on the leg.
