Making Sick Drops: The Thread
I think it's time that Pinback and I learned how to MAKE dubstep as well. I will be posting links of software that I think can do it, as well as tutorials and such that show how to get those sounds, that bass and the wu b wub wub.
Wouldn't it be great if I was actually able to make a lot of music for my next game myself? Of course it would be.
LET'S DO THIS!
Here's the first program I found, it's $39:

The Massive VST is something like an industry standard for this. I don't do Dubstep myself (I'm a House kind of guy), but I know it's very suitable. You can search for "dubstep native instruments massive" on how to use it for that.
Problem is, it's expensive. 180€.
Of course you can always use auto pilot, toy-like generators that require little effort (and talent) and output generic, cookie cutter sound. But all you'll get is crap that sounds the same and gets boring quickly.
