Da King was the co-sysop of the forum when it was a dial-up BBS from 1990-1998. He took the time between then and now to raise a hockey prodigy and a daughter that I assume will also be a hockey produgy. Content that one of the two kids will sign a pro contract and put him on easy street, he has rejoined us.

Let's answer the question of, "Who are these people?" But let me be clear. It's been rough. We've scared off virtually everyone new who has ever come here. It's pretty slim-pickings.

Flack is a Oklahoma-based retro-technologist that wrote a book about the Commodore and arcade games. He is a nice person.

Roody Yogurt is a Wisconsin-based text adventure author that has single-handedly expanded the functionality of the text game language "Hugo." He is a nice person.

ChainGangGuy is an actor in the greater Georgia area who also pretends to be the guy who sets himself on fire before he posts sometimes. He is a nice person.

pinback is Benjamin "Pinback" Parrish and Don Rogers, budding fake radio DJ. He is currently based in Pugent Sound and while a nice person in a real life, he's a bastard fucking shit-stirrer on the forum. Take nothing he says personally, as he is just like the rest of us where in the dial-up days.

Knuckles the CLown is my brother. He is not a nice person.

Tdarcos is most easily described as a brain allowed to grow without outside interference. He is based in Washington, DC, at least according to the pizza delivery guy who called up confused when we tried to order Tdarcos a pizza.

Casual Observer is the same guy from the groucho forum. He is a nice person.

Aardvark is the only guy on the forum who wouldn't be dead in 24-48 hours if there were a country-wide riot with shortages to resources and food. He is a nice person.

Worm is a would-be chemist from rural Pennsylvania who is attempting to make a necklace out of human teeth. He is a nice person.

Bugs is the same Bugs from JC and Groucho. Who is different than "BUG." who tried to sell that printer. He is a nice person.

milker is Randy McLellan, whom played fantasy football with us for a years, who works where I do and who is the owner of the City of the Dead Haunted House. He is a nice person.

RetroRomper is a noted ice cream enthusiast from California who is growing his own food, except for the ice cream. He is a nice person.


There's also a host of fake people posting with fake names that run the gauntlet between "unfunny dickwad" and "unfunny dickfuck."

Seriously though, thanks for the primer. I often find myself wondering who the hell everybody is too. I guess I'm just hanging around, waiting for Spidey, Carrie and Amy Friday to come back. They... ARE coming back, right?
