NEXT BAND: Glasvegas
From 2008, but good music is still Good Music.
1. Anyone here not enjoy the song?
2. Drummer chick is hot, right? (for the ten total seconds she is on screen).

If it is good music. Something that has to be proved by performance, not merely claimed.RetroRomper wrote:From 2008, but good music is still Good Music.
I listened to it for over a minute and 1/2, more like 1 3/4 minutes. When it first opened, it reminded me of the initial opening of Train's Calling All Angels. Then the guy starts playing, and singing, and basically, it wasn't very good. I did not care for it, but I decided to be reasonable, I gave it almost two minutes (as the saying goes "That's 1:47 of my life I'll never get back"), but it never got any better.1. Anyone here not enjoy the song?
I've heard some songs I've loved immediately. Fleetwood Mac's Everywhere blew me away the first time I heard it, with the trill sound at the opening. Fall Out Boy's Thnks Fr Th Mmrs surprised me as one I happened to like. But some songs just don't work for me, and this is one of those.
I have never found the "heroin chic" style to be all that attractive, someone looking emaciated and drawn is not the same as someone lithe or svelte or otherwise attractively thin.2. Drummer chick is hot, right? (for the ten total seconds she is on screen).
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.

If you liked them you may like Amazing Baby

I hate this song, because I had the opening intro music in my head for 5 years and don't know how to play music and have no intiative. Then I heard this on Sirius XM I was like fuck, I could've been barely a one hit wonder.

Recently there was an Achtung Baby tribute album released for the 20th anniversary of the U2 classic, with well-known and obscure artists performing each of the 12 original tracks.
Glasvegas was probably the least known band on the album, so it was fitting that they did what is perhaps its least known song, Acrobat. It's a pretty complex (for U2) song in 12/8 that is known by fans as the only song on Achtung Baby that U2 has never performed live.
Anyway, Glasvegas knocked it out of the fucking park, and I'm pretty sure they recorded it live, too. The new drummer, some chick from Sweden or Denmark or someplace weird just crushed it. I'm on my phone so I can't link right now, but it's all over the youtubes if you just google it on the ol' webnet there.

At 1:26 I realized I didn't like it and was wasting my time. I won't say I'm sorry other than to say "I'm sorry I've wasted 1:26 of my life that I'll never get back."Knuckles the CLown wrote:If you liked them you may like Amazing Baby

you know 99% of your quotes dont need to be sourced. Perhaps for the first time ever one did. I'm glad you properley sourced the "I knew Jack Kennedy and your not Jack Kennedy" refernece. I mean NOBODY remembers that.Tdarcos wrote:At 1:26 I realized I didn't like it and was wasting my time.
