Final Score Predictions

Post by Tdarcos »

Absolutely guaranteed accurate final score for all but two teams in Super Bowl XLVI:

(Every Team in the AFC except the New England Patriots) 0 vs. (Every Team in the NFC except the New York Giants) 0

I will be happy to bet $100 that the "Patrios" will not score anything in the Super Bowl. No bet on the team known as the "Patriots".

Could we wait until after we see the owners take credit for the dedication of the players to a specific, utterly meaningless skill set that still somehow entitles them to multimillionaire dollar contract work?

Too soon!

PS go team America!

Hey, my Facebook feed was filled with people who think so little of the Super Bowl they had to tell everyone how they "didn't know it was the Super Bowl today!!" and how they aren't going to watch it.

Join the fucking culture.

(I missed the first half, because fuck these teams and I thought it started at 6:30.)

JOIN THE GOD DAMN CULTURE.

I, for one, don't have to. I had no intention of watching the Super Bowl, did not watch the Super Bowl, and as far as I'm concerned, if it was banned I would not care.

Anyway, every last one of you is extra-stupid for pronouncing how much you hate it, because this was a great Super Bowl (well, at least the second half, which is all I bothered to watch).

You all should have posted how much you seriously guys seriously don't care back in the 80s when each Super Bowl had a score of 55-3.

I agree with everything Robb said. Don't you fucking nerds at some point reach an age where you realize it's no longer cool to disparage sports and be all proud to pronounce that you don't care about "a bunch of millionaires chasing after a ball"?

No, because you're fucking nerds. You will always think that's cool, even if it never was.

I'm not Mr. Pro-Sports Guy, but I am my family's SENTINEL against Mr. Anti-Sports Guy.

No actually: I was in the back row oooohing and ahhhhing with the rest of the herd at every fumble or what not (the last attempt at a hail Mary during the Super Bowl was quite a site). But it's down to the rest of the idea of sports: it's a fun group event (same with Barcraft type ventures) but its ultimately pointless to hold any opinion about it, for or against. And the can be said about taking it seriously, for or against - it is what it is.

Anyway... Last half didn't see too much action: except for the last play by the Giants (where the runner actually sat down into the touchdown zone... What an FU statement), the game felt a bit of a grind from my groups perspective.

No, it was a mistake. He meant to down himself at the one but his momentum carried him into the end zone.

Fortunately for him, the Pats couldn't do anything at the end, or that would have been one of the more epic gaffes in Super Bowl history, coming in behind only Scott Norwood missing the field goal, Thurman Thomas losing his helmet, and the Denver Broncos.

It was the first time we ever saw the effect of a generation that grew up on video games show up in the Super Bowl.

There you go, NERDS, something to rally around. Maybe next year someone will overclock the stadium scoreboard.
