I went over to Target to pick up eggs, milk, sugar and flour for the crepes video. I saw two other things I was planning eventually to buy: a belgian wafflemaker and a griddle, both normally $22.99 each.
But the wafflemaker is on sale for $17.99 so I got it. I then decided, hey, you guys are sponsoring this video, I should do this right, so I decided to splurge and also buy the griddle to film this. So you'll get to be the first to see it and this will be the first thing I use it on.
Since you've promised to pay for this video, I've decided I'll list you guys as sponsors. So, those of you who have decided you're going to send me money - and I took you seriously and trusted you all since you mentioned reasonable amounts - let me know how you want to be listed, it'll be at the end or the beginning (or maybe both), similar to the way PBS does that for those who sponsor their programs. It's not a 1/2 hour show so probably doing it twice might be too much. So let me know whether you want to be listed by real name or by handle.
The only restriction is that since this is a family video if you use a handle it would be similar to what you're using now, no profanity.
Also, the order you get listed in the video is (1) by amounts, the larger donors get listed first (2) by the time posted for same ones. If you don't want to be listed at all, say so. Also, if you send me your street address (I think you can do that on Paypal) I'll send you a DVD of the video and something else: my outtakes video where you see all the mistakes I've made with other videos, you get to hear me cursing over the things that go wrong. (It's the sort of thing I can't post to YouTube, it would probably be banned).
Once it's posted I'll expect you'll honor your pledges. Then I'll mail out the disks within a few days after I burn the clips.
Thank you.

Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.

No, they did that in The Godfather. Besides, I don't have that cat any more, that was over twenty-five years ago.js wrote:the head of a cat?Tdarcos wrote:Also, if you send me your street address (I think you can do that on Paypal) I'll send you a DVD of the video and something else:

Barney: You mean it's [the teleporter] working? For real this time? Because I still have nightmares about that cat.
Alyx:What cat?
Dr. Kleiner: Now, now, there is nothing to be worried about, we have made major strides since then. Major strides.
Alyx: (louder) What cat?!!

Tam O'Shanter: Like it says in the Bible, 'Keep your friends close but your enemies closer'.
Resident: Tam, that was from The Godfather.
Tam O'Shanter: Eh, The Godfather, The Bible, who cares what work of fiction it's from? Let's eat!

Since I need to put the names of the people sponsoring this into the video I need to know what you want me to use. Ben and Flack both gave me theirs, but I need yours. Since I need to put them into the video, I have to hold the video until you tell me.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:I'm gonna paypal you right now. What's the address to use?
