Favorite Movies from before y2k

Post by Flack »

Convinced we were all going to die around y2k, I wrote a list of my favorite 100 movies so that things like this would be preserved after my death. We survived y2k, and in retrospect, I put a lot of terrible movies on this list. Note that this was my list of my 100 favorite movies, not the 100 best movies. So as of December, 1999, these were my 100 favorite films. Feel free to ask questions about any of them.

(Note: If I redo this list I will remove probably 40% of these movies.)

I looked at this list, and I thought, how many of these have I seen? Not necessarily that they are my favorites or that I liked them much or a lot or a little.

Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.

You are forbidden from posting here until you explain why you think Fargo -- FARGO!!! -- is the second worst movie of all time.

That is so wholly unacceptable and distasteful that I feel you must be "pulling a fast one" on us.
When you need my help because I'm ruining everything, don't look at me.
