I am not even going to get into Steve Phillips coming out on the side of fucking Castro during the World Baseball Classic (Phillips argued that the WBC was "not the place" for a few anti-Castro signs and banners, which is fucking AMAZING, because even though Castro is a bloated old whore at this point, he is still a fucking dictator, so fuck him) but it's been my experience that he is capable of saying shit I vehemently disagree with.

This is second hand, but he apparently let loose with the following comment recently:

TSN insider Steve Phillips was just commenting on Mike Lowell's injury, and said he is the greatest defensive 3B in the history of the game, and then specifically said, better then Brooks Robinson.

Haha, yeah, Mike Lowell is the best defensive third baseman of ALL-TIME.

I'm going to try to find some other stupid shit that he's unleashed, and bump this thread when appropriate. I feel perfectly all right with this, because all reports indicate that the guy is a complete cocksucker in person.
