In other news, I know RobB hates all hockey video games since NHL 98. And I would tend to agree.. at least until I played NHL2K7. (not the blasphemous EA; the one from 2k sports) Yes, I know EA made NHL 98. Let's move on.

This is a GOOD hockey game! Holy shit! They let you remove the announcers except for crucial plays, they let you see most of the rink no matter where you are, it actually plays different for the first time in almost 10 years..

... Ah, some non-EA game from a few years back. The one with Forsberg on it.

I just got tired of EA's transparent shenanigans with goalie control. Fifty bucks for a game that was useless in head-to-head mode because you couldn't control the goalie was really starting to add up.

i'm going back to bed, after i take a "shit" - more like pissing out of your ass. go beer go.

i'm still getting used to the new hockey game, i have the EA "offering" but haven't even fired it up because I'm not ready to be disappointed yet. The Sega Sports one is still impressing me every time I play it. I'm usually lazy about the goalie though and prefer mauling attackers with defensemen. I'll check on the goalie control though, no reason why it shouldn't be there.
