Verdict: fapworthy.

Naw, seriously. Even <i>more</i> graphically stylish than <i>Sky Captain and the Little Sump'in Sump'in</i>.

And violent. Oh boy howdy shitfire is it violent. <i>Cartoonishly</i> violent.

And the Chief Whore in the third segment? Looks <i>just like</i> Condaleeza Rice. I mean, so much, it's scary. And Frodo as a fucked-up vampire psycho Harry Potter? Awww yeah.

This movie has everything: guys' heads being shoved into dirty toilets, guys who look like Nosferatu, amputations and decapitations and cannibalism and Frodo and tits and castration and all kinds of stuff.

And it's really really really noir. Postmodern, hip, self-aware noir, but totally noir. The visual style is astounding.

No idea how faithful it is to the comics. I've read Dark Knight and The Watchmen but not Sin City.

Hell of a cast, too. Rutger Hauer and Condi Rice (uh, Rosario Dawson) are my favorites, but Bruce Willis is pretty good too. So's Frodo (um, Elijah Wood) and so's Mickey Rourke and Michael Clarke Duncan who is one scary fucker.

Not a great movie. But a very entertaining movie that makes you want to go out and commit random acts of shocking violence.
