Waking Life
Been meaning to see it since 2001 when it first came out. I definitely would have liked it better in 2001, when it first came out. Takes a long, long, long time to get going but is pretty good once it does. If you like talking. Which I do. But not as much as I used to. i*.

Jesus, man, at least when I have nothing to say about a movie I talk about the condition of the box it's in or the cover art.
I like this (exciting?) trend of finding old posts that got no play back in their day and are now resurrected in a slightly more tricky form which makes them a little more fun to play. Big fan here.
I'm going to go find some unanswered tech question Pinner posed from March and just PISS ALL OVER IT.

It was a Netflix DVD, so there was no box or cover art. Unlike certain forumgoers, I watch every disc that is mailed to me, instead of mailing them back just so I can piss off my internet friends who want me to see certain movies.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Jesus, man, at least when I have nothing to say about a movie I talk about the condition of the box it's in or the cover art.
Here:
Unlike the DVDs I used to rent from Blockbuster, it was not all scratched and did not skip wildly when I tried to watch it on my PS2. I think Netflix must have the equivalent of the bowling shoe guy spraying those things down whenever they come back in. That work for you?

My original review gave the movie i* and, while much of the review itself is flawed (although calling that piece of brief nonsense the worst review ever is offensive to all the truly horrible reviews out there), I think giving the film an imaginary number of stars captures my opinion of it perfectly.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:HOW MANY STARS MAN
HOW MANY STARS
Bowling shoe guy gets 5 stars out of 5. Really, the man does good work.
And this thread? NEGATIVE A MILLION STARS!!!
