Today is the day that millions of Americans wake up and realize that M. Night Shyamalanmanaman is not a superhuman director of seamless vision, the bastard child of Kubrick and Tarkovsky, but is the world's richest, most famous first-year, bottom-20th-percentile film student reject.

Even Roger Ebert, his perennial lapdog, can no longer stomach M's phony, boring, insufferable faux-chic dross.

Horror of horrors - I actually agree with Pindick.

I believe I pointed out in one of my long-term movie previews months ago on my (far more successful than his shitty) BBS, The Village was lame and would surely suck.

MNS started out overrated but sort-of OK and has churned out turds since then. I don't care what Jonsey says, Unbreakable sucked.

Oh, and Kubrick? No one has ever compared MNS to Kubrick, and the very idea shows the shallowness prevalent here. Clearly MNS is trying to be nothing less than the modern Hitchcock, as predictable as that is.

Chubby Checker consistently creates better twists than MNS.

I'm not kidding. This place has been quite unpleasant as of late. I'd honestly enjoy visiting one site on the Internet whose pulse I wasn't in some way completely responsible for as of late.

Granted this place isn't happy. Though at least it isn't stupid. Caltrops is fairing pretty well and I think this place is too.

Maybe we're hating ourselves, maybe we're hating one another I don't know really. All I do know is we've got a good amount of the most dangerous motherfuckers on the whole Internet. Not this fag flame war shit, but getting Miggs to swallow his own tongue because he threw cum in Jodie Foster's face kind of dangerous.

I don't understand. I told ICJ the exact same thing in AIM yesterday (that visiting this BBS is about as fun and pleasant and a colo-rectal exam with a tuning fork), and he blew up at me, getting all indignant about what a horrible "revelation" it was, that I was no longer cool or funny enough to appreciate the glory that IS the Jolt Country BBS.

And then seriously, within an hour, he gets on that very same BBS and starts bemoaning the fact publicly that it's a genuinely unpleasant, un-fun place to visit anymore.

What gives, there, Keeper of the Gloom?

No, you didn't. You said the place sucks and has sucked for some time. You didn't say "it wasn't fun anymore." You said that you're sick of all the "trolling idiots" and "children" and so forth.

Of course, as soon as you want to actually discuss something you come here, because there's nothing but crippled losers both physically and mentally hanging over at your place. But JC still sucks! My problem with this place has nothing to do with your problem. You got upset that while posting a new movie review per night, sometimes two a night, nobody else could keep up with you. And hey they couldn't YOU'RE RIGHT! How that made you angry I have no idea. People who haven't seen a film that you saw need to go rent it or have it show up on Netflix or GreenCine or whatever. A movie-commenting posse isn't something you just throw together, Pinner, it's something you need to organize.

But in the meantime you're telling me useless things like, "I hate all the new people." Oh. Okay. You hated all the old people, too, but still! Everyone here is "childish" and "immature" and a "troll." The fact of the matter is, everyone is behaving more or less like they have been here -- it's you that changed. You've got some pie-eyed, wall-eyed impression of yourself that you need to be beyond joking around with a bunch of people that you've virtually hung out with for a couple years now. It makes me violently ill. "This" Pinback would never post a screenshot of something with the tagline, "Undead doesn't have to mean unhappy!" Because that was funny. I do like the person that normally posts as RC. I feel I should mention that, because RC has taken on a persona of his/her own, a persona that I'd like to punch in the face.

Then again, every gimmick poster I've ever made up I've made with the hopes that the reaction people would have would be wanting to fight said poster, so maybe this is a gg after all. Who can tell, who can tell.
