FenixTx is a band, one that I would have no idea existed if not for the proliferation of MP3s over the internet. I'll spare the chicken little stuff, but just state this:
1) New Found Glory's "Hit or Miss" is played on a college radio station
2) I memorize enough of the lyrics to look it up on Google
3) I find the sound, download all their songs, love most of them
4) Yes, it's worth stating, I buy all three of their albums available at the time and their latest one that just came out.
5) While looking for more of their songs, I find that they were on a record from their label, Drive Thru Records, which had a bunch of other bands on it (er, from the same label) as well.
6) One such song is "O'Bleak," by the band (you guessed it) FenixTx.
7) Get a load of the songs on the Lechuza album, play it almost daily
8) Go down to the mall, buy the disc. It was on sale for $6.99. Whoo-hoo! What CDs should actually cost!
Anyway, it's pop-rock (people who like the "emo" tag can fight over whether or not this qualfies) so if you don't like that you won't like this. But there's a fine collection of songs here. Oh, shit. Wait. Oh FUCK. There's a "censored" version to the disc, I just realized. One song has the word "motherfucker" in the chorus. Oh, Christ, I hope I didn't buy the censored version. That would explain why it was only $6.99. Shit. SHIT!
OK, this review's over. I'm going back to my car to see if I got the right one or not. Dammit. DAMMIT.

It was, in fact, the "cursing enhanced" version. Whew!
Anyway, to sum up:
o Great CD
o Terrible name for the album, I mean, WTF, right?
o No wince-worthy moments in the songs themselves, like in every other emo CD since the dawn of time
o Let's get a little bit better at posting our thoughts more coherently, okay, Jonsey? OK.
