Is Shamus a rescue?

Kind of. Yes, I think.

I guess there are illegal breeders out here and they get narced on. Ha! Ha ha!

So they take the dogs out of the breeder cages where they charge $4000 for a dog and give them to rescues where they are kept, uh, behind cages and charge 1/10the price. We, the public, wins?

So far, Shamus is a real lunatic when it comes to toys - we are watching two dogs that belong to my wife's older sister and husband. One dog will get a toy, or Shamus will have a toy and then Shamus will bark and snap.

But I don't care about any of that, all I care about if she's nice to cats. She's seen Reggie twice. Once she just looked and ignored him. The second interaction had Reggie hiss at her and she did the Scooby Doo Running Away thing. So far so good.
