What better on a sleepy Monday morning than a poll about EGGS?!

I voted sunny-side up. I love a good omelet and order them a lot, but I think that's less about the egg and more about the stuff they put in (and on) the omelet. If you take all those extras away and said I was only getting the eggs, I'd order them sunny-side up. Nothin' better than a traditional plate of hash browns, a meat or two, and a couple of sunny-side eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper and a could of drops of hot sauce. When you're done, that gives your toast a job.

I voted over easy for much the same reasons as Flack voted sunny side up. Instead of the hot sauce, however, I enjoy buttering the heck out of the toast and spreading on a jam before dipping them in the eggs. In an ideal world I would probably go sunny side up, but over easy achieves much the same thing while providing a greater margin of error when cooking. I also prefer how it cooks both sides of the whites with the butter.

I also wanted to compliment you for getting back on track with a great poll.

Not a popular one, though.

American Skiier: (midwestern accent) How was your breakfast?
European Skiier: (German accent) How do you say it? I had Sunny side up. And I had Sunny side down. And I had Sunny all the way around!

For the same reason I always do. I misspelled something and can't edit after saving, so I capture the post and repost it corrected. Had you not come in to complain, you would have seen this:
