I didn't know there was anything but pornography on the Internet.
Are any of you aware, almost all of the web security features were developed specifically to allow porn sellers to operate? If you were going to allow people to send credit card information they had to be sure the transaction was secure. You have to have good authentication to be sure people who log in to your server to view video are who they say they are - not someone else stealing from you by impersonating a user without their knowledge - and good encryption so the video can't be captured in transit. Plus the ability to accept credit cards online, meaning the ability of a seller to transmit received credit card information to their acquirer without human intervention and get an approve/decline response in real time.
So, Amazon is a company that really has built its business "Behind the Green Door."
