Trotting Krips fun fact.
We have gotten more than 30 comments regarding the Clock Tower review.
I have no idea why. It must be linked somewhere. I've been searching, but can't find the source for the life of me.
Either that, or it is an elaborate hoax.
(We've also had a fair share of Full Throttle comments as well that I need to update the review with.)
I guess the site still regularly gets eyeballs.

Clock Tower has about as much in common with Myst as pleasure, happiness and joy have in common with Myst. What the?!!? Are you thinking of the same game as I am, Jack? Clock Tower was about a couple of girls almost getting hacked into pieces by the Scissorman. Unfortunately, I never played Clock Tower 2, so I have no idea what went on with that one. I can understand where someone wouldn't like Clock Tower, but I am not sure I follow you regarding the Myst bit.

I thought it was like a puzzle game, without 3D movement.
Being that I haven't played them, I am probably not the best person to be making sweeping comments about the games.
But, the kid who lent me indefinitely Clock Tower 3 for PS2 seems to think that. Is it worth giving them a shot (after CT3, RE:0 and REmake of course ;)
Clock Tower 3 DOES have the bloodiest, nastiest little girl in pink dress style murder right off the bat, which gives me hope.

The review is right here:

I will try to put up everyone's comments tonight. It really is oddly out of control. Their enthusiasm is quite enchanting, however.
Did I just say "enchanting"? Please disregard that statement, thanks.

Looks like I was entirely wrong again. This ranks up there with "consoles don't have force feedback"
BTW, your link is broken.

I think that link was about a guy who was going to single-handedly "beat up" UPS. So one of two things probably happened: he either beat up UPS or the Union silenced him. I guess I'll leave that mystery as an exercise for the reader. It's sort of like the home game of the Trotting Krips website, minus all that sticky turtle wax.Jack Straw wrote:BTW, your link is broken.

I just reread my review, and there's a link that I'd wanted to put in there, except Old Man Murray was down. Now that it's back up, is it possible to insert it? The OMM article is here:
http://www.oldmanmurray.com/features/77.html
It's entitled "the Death of Adventure Games," and it's a really good read for IF authors and players alike,
But you knew it would be, because OMM rocks the house.

OK. It'll take me a day or two to get that up there, but I will do it. (Tonight I have a softball game and I am putting together a computer for a friend. Well, this guy. Well, Matthew "Bundy" Davis. Well, anyway.)
If for some reason it's not up by Friday, please bump this thread. I would like to have every last Clock Tower comment and your OMM link up to make this a phat, tite site ware teh bedbugzzz bite. Or something like that, anyway.
