Oh yes, I heard all about that SC2 tournament. My favorite part was when Ryan Broyles broke the NCAA record for career catches.

I don't know what's worse -- the fact that OU got their asses kicked by unranked Texas Tech last week, or that my cable installer stood me up Friday night so I had to listen to the game on the fucking radio because they don't work weekends.

I was half-listening to the game and half-unpacking Saturday evening. The score was 0-7, then 7-7. Then I went to poop and when I came out it was 7-24. I was like what the hell man, was I in there pooping that long!??!

From all the highlights (lowlights?) I've seen it looks like TT played one hell of a game on top of OU playing their worst first half maybe of all time.

I heard that some OU fans are actually supporting the OSU Cowboys now. If you're not from here that's like ... hm. That's like saying, "I don't like Obama so now I'm pro-Hitler."

Today's standard insult quote in response: "That's better than you deserve, you goddam scumbag. Fucking dickwad asshole."

Back on track this week, the OU Sooners kicked the shit out of the (previous to this game) undefeated Kansas Wildcats, 58-17, OU.

While watching the game with my son he said, "Dad, why do people like OU more than OSU?" After the game ended I repeated his question and said, "that's why." Starting late in the 2nd quarter, OU scored 44 unanswered points. That's why, son. That's why.

Can't believe I let this one slide:

Penn State: our seasoned coaching staff will turn your young tight end into an experienced wide receiver!

Is there a danger that your son is going to become an OSU fan to spite you? Would that be more of a danger to him?

Probably not to spite us, but OSU has a great engineering program which is something Mason is showing an interest in, so it's always possible that he could end up going there.

These license plates are not uncommon here:

My least favorite part was when Ryan Broyles broke his leg, and our hearts.

(Actually it was a torn ACL but it didn't work as well.)

Jesus H. OSU beat Texas Tech 66-6 today. If you'll recall, it was Texas Tech that handed OU their only loss of the season so far this year. OU/OSU (Bedlam) this year is December 3rd. With Ryan Broyles out for the season and OSU on a tear ... things do not bode well for OU.

OU lost their second game of the season the weekend before last to Baylor, which is pathetic. It's obvious that this year's injuries (and deaths) have had an affect on the Sooners. OU pulled out at 26-6 win over Iowa last week, but the game wasn't as one sided as it sounds.

Next week is Bedlam -- OU vs. OSU. From a performance standpoint you would have to give the Cowboys the nod; mentally however, the Sooners go in having won the last 8 Bedlams in a row.

The big winner of course is the Big 12. Aside from that, whoever wins this game heads to the Fiesta Bowl.

Is there a point when you quit watching your favorite team play?

OU is down 0-24 at the half after being completely embarrassed by the Cowpokes. It's not that I want to stop being a Sooner fan. It's that I want to stop living.

Well, thank gawd it's not 0-24 anymore.

It's 3-34.

Christ.

10-44, final, although OU scored 7 in the last 2 minutes when OSU had their 3rd string in.

After Landry's second fumble that resulted in an OSU touchdown, I whipped this up in Photoshop and posted it on Facebook.

I put my website's URL on the site in small print, just so I could track people reposting it. What I didn't expect was the hammering my webserver is taking at the moment.

Allow me to be the billionth person to say this, but fuck the BCS.

How the fuck are we not having AT LEAST a LSU vs Stanford, Alabama vs Okie State tourney? This is SO GOD DAMN DUMB. I said I wasn't going to pay attention to college football when a punter for some team got his touchdown taken away because he raised his arm for less than a second on the way to the end zone. Then the posts in this thread got me interested again. Fuuuuuuck! What a colossal waste of time for everyone involved.
