Scott Stapp of Creed hungry and crazy

A friend of mine coined the term "Puddle of Nickelcreed," describing this onslaught of bands that all sounded alike and seemed to come from a safe cookie cutter of 90s/00s rock.

I was happy when Creed finally called it quits but I'm having a tough time being too happy over this latest rash of articles, saying that Scott Stapp (the lead singer of the band) is broke, living in a Holiday Inn, and probably on drugs. Stapp of course says he is not on drugs. Everybody who is on drugs says they are not on drugs, so I don't put a lot of weight in that.

The one cool thing about Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and all those social media sites is that when someone goes completely bonkers we all get to watch it live. Tell me that Amanda Bynes meltdown wasn't made 10x better by all the crazy things she was tweeting to people. No way the PR people of the 90s would have let that stuff get out! So yeah, 10 years ago Scott Stapp's people would have spun this differently. Also he doesn't have people, except the CIA who he thinks is behind Alcoholics Anonymous (true story).
