A laughable abomination in writing, plot and acting, it is difficult to imagine a greater waste of time in the entirety of human history than its production. Excruciating at two hours, the only real entertainment this pile of fecund garbage offers is when you try to identify the source of the inexplicable orange or cyan light present in every frame. Not a single statement uttered by anyone in the movie makes the slightest bit of sense or holds up to a moment's consideration. Charlie Day does his best to pull a 1972 Steve Carlton, but my soul was happier and more content before knowing that I share a universe with this shitfuck of a film. The only thing keeping me from the sweet release of suicide is waiting long enough for my memories of Pacific Rim to fade. Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

Zero stars.

Did you mix up the Godzilla remake with Pacific Rim?

That's the wrong opinion, by the way. That is not the right opinion.

Dude, at one point they have the blonde, white protagonist doing his stuff and they switch right to a scene where there is a blonde, white protagonist (the Australian kid, I think) that looks almost EXACTLY like the first dude. They couldn't even cast this movie competently.

Idris Elba is the exact opposite of Denzel in Training Day in this.

So your... your primary complaint, the one you first picked to prove your point about Pacific Rim -- a movie about giant robots beating up giant monsters -- was that you found it CONFUSING??

This is going to get worse before it gets better.

I really don't know how it's possible that you hated it this much. I know TWO people who said it was the worst movie ever, now: You, and a Vietnamese girl I work with.

I don't know what to do with this information, but I feel like I should do something with it.
