I am attending the opener of the Jays/Sox series tonight. I'm so excited, I'm wearing my Bleu Jays jersey in the office today. Casual Fridays kick ass.

I have been there a couple times. The first time I saw Curt Schilling pitch a lights-out extended middle finger game when he was with the Phillies. The guy was just on the top of his game. Everyone says that you can't pitch in Colorado -- well, maybe some of the chuds that the Rockies have brought up need to put in as much work as Schilling does.

The second time was when the Mariners came for Interleague play. My brother is an M's fan, so we went with a few friends. Mike was pissed that they signed Al Martin, so he told everyone about his bigamy and how he lied about playing football for USC. We were in right, and I think we all took turns heckling him. After there were two outs he'd make the "two" sign with his hand, and one of us yelled "HEY AL IS THAT HOW MANY WIVES YOU HAVE?" Stuff like that.

I didn't go when the Blue Jays came to town because back then I was really fucking pissed at the direction the team was taking and baseball in general. Unfortunately, it'll now be like 30 years before they return.
