Pitchfork's top 100 songs of 2013
These lists have done nothing but depress me for years now by reminding me what an old, out-of-touch geezer I've become. Of the supposed top 100 singles of 2013, I've heard of maybe 10 of the performers (and that's counting "Drake," the guy I assumed was the white kid from the Nick show "Drake and Josh" until I saw a picture of him on the list) and I have only heard one song on the list (goddamn "Royals").

Blurred Lines & Get Lucky. That's it. I'd heard OF maybe one or two others, but that's it.
And I wasn't really "listening" to Blurred Lines, as previously discussed.

When you need my help because I'm ruining everything, don't look at me.

Dangit, I was so distraught about being uncool when I posted that I forgot about that one. Add "Blurred Lines" to my list -- I've heard two of the 100 songs.
I also know who ASAP Rocky is because he was on Ridiculousness as a guest. Also I know Arcade Fire from being on SNL. I am so old.

Pitchfork is probably the worst site on the planet right now. Grantland is close.
Pitchfork has the most obnoxious, pretentious reviewers. Look at this fucking garbage:
http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/6656-kid-a/
Here's how that trog started his Kid A review:
"I had never even seen a shooting star before. 25 years of rotations, passes through comets' paths, and travel, and to my memory I had never witnessed burning debris scratch across the night sky."
You don't recognize the bands their terrible reviewers dug out someplace? Good. You're human.
Here is another page destroying that god awful review: http://ripfork.com/2009/11/brent-dicres ... radiohead/

Rolling Stone put out their list of best albums too. I have only heard ONE of these albums. Queens of the Stone Age. And it sucked.
