Now that my Thunder thread is gone I will just post Thunder news in whatever thread I happen to be reading at the time I hear the news.lethargic wrote:Golf?Flack wrote:Apparently the Thunder is going after Mike Miller from the Heat. All I know about Mike Miller is that he drains 3s and that he's been out for back surgery. Why are we going after guys with back surgery? I wouldn't hire a guy with a bad back to help me weed eat the lawn, much less pay one tens of millions of dollars to go jump around for three hours a night.

No jacket, ol' FIGJAM just gets the Claret Jug.
As much as he nauseates me, that was about the most incredible six holes of golf you're ever going to see. He earned it.
We HATE you, Phil. But you earned it. You fat smug fuck. Bleah.

Who are these golfers? The course security is on par with British royalty. Seriously? I heard they have a checkpoint in the road in front of Oak Hill. Just to drive by, not even to get in the parking lot. I heard they have their own 911 trailer on the course so the response time can be under 30 seconds. Must be nice. Anyway, who'd want to mess with pro golfers?
Everyone has Tiger fever. He's all over the papers and radio.
Where's he staying? His girlfriend is with him, what're they wearing. It's ramping up to be a total media circus by the weekend.
The east course is blocked off so all the pros can work on their game.
Funny how the Buffalo Bills training camp went by the wayside all of a sudden. And that used to be the big draw in August.

One thing you like to do after two rounds of a golf tournament is already lead by seven.
Holy crap, that was something. That was... that was something.

A friend of a friend did go to Oak Hill and he did snap some pix of Tiger while there, even though he wasn't s'posed to. taking photos on game day is a no-no.
Honestly though, a screen capture of Tiger on a CRT television with a VHS camcorder would look better than what he showed me. He wasn't even close to the front of the crowd and barely managed to stick the phone between two other spectators. Just photoshop Tiger in front of the cityscape and you'd have a better picture.
