recipes using canned foods

Post by Karen Greene »

Anyone have good recipes using canned ingredients? I'm particularly interested in entrees/main courses. I'm thinking of things using canned chicken, tuna, salmon etc., other than salads.

I've seen the recipe videos at YouTube "Can Power", ( http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJy-8qx0DEatA4BVpBbAmbA ) and I'm looking for more.

Sure. Here is a video that we've used on how to make tuna casserole:

Am I the only person on this forum that normally uses *fresh* food when I cook?

Well, when I go into a grocery store, if I see any white people in there, I turn around!

(Now I am concerned that you think this comment might be made with malice instead of friendly jesting. This is friendly jesting.)

(Because we are bros.)

(I am not pulling a Don Rogers on you here.)

(I have a jester's hat that I can post to prove the tone.)

No, but you're probably the only one who feels smugly superior while doing so!

I cook most of my own meals. Sometimes I make a Lean Cuisine. Sometimes a Smart Ones. Sometimes a Healthy Choice. Every once in a while I splurge for a Hungry Man.
