The Ledge

Post by pinback »

We got 20 minutes into The Ledge and turned it off. We then looked at mrqe and found that pretty much everyone else had done the same.

This is the worst movie ever and should not be viewed by anyone.

Anyone else care to comment on Hollywood's seeming run on ledges?

I can guarantee that that one will be much better than the one this thread was originally about.

I've renamed this film to..

"Dipshit Who Fifteen Minutes Into the Movie, I Wish I Could Push Off His Ledge."

As an aside, didn't Hollywood realize that the title "Snakes on a Plane" was meant to be a cheesy, hokey affair that wasn't trying to infuse a title naming standard of specific description, into the industry?

I think you'll find that there are a few movies that much more qualify for this title, like Showgirls (I think my brother might have said that one was okay), or maybe it was the-other-similar-nude-women-movie-but-I-can't-remember-its-name-but-my-brother-does ( I just called him, it was Striptease with Demi Moore) , or Ishtar, or Heaven's Gate (film lost so much money it bankrupted the studio).
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.

All of the movies you mentioned are much better than The Ledge.

Was it worse than Buffalo 66 or Inland Empire, 2 movies that we turned off after 20 minutes?

I remember this movie. Jack Nicholson and Benicio Del Toro were in it, right? It was about that cop that was trying to find a guy that killed a kid?

Wait, wait, wait -- this was the movie where Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin were in a plane that crashed in the wilderness, right?
