Hot Pepper Reaction

I don't eat a lot of super hot peppers or hot sauces like some of you guys, but ... is this a normal reaction?

No. It's a very prepared reaction from a guy who does a radio/TV show.

That's what I figured, around the time they got to the hallucinations.

BTW, your old article about almost being killed by hot sauce is one of the reasons I signed up for this forum.

I think it's quite normal; I can't stand anything spicy, I don't like spicy peppers or anything above mild.
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.
