As I was watching the flim, my thoughts were, "I thought this was supposed to be fiction, not a current-events documentary." There were people criticizing the film and making stupid comments about it, and their comments clearly indicated that they never watched the film.

One reviewer said something to the effect that people were shipping oil by rail, hadn't they ever heard of pipelines, and why would people be using trains again. Well, the book mentions that someone decides to order a new pipeline, and in the movie, it mentions that because of shocks in the middle east, nobody is driving any long distances by car because the price of gasoline is about $40 a gallon. Rail by comparison is extremely efficient, more efficient than any other transport system except barges.

If you've seen the latest ads on TV here and now, CSX points out that they can move one ton of freight over 400 miles on one gallon of fuel. That would be the equivalent of driving you and your car (which together probably weigh about 4,000 pounds), 200 miles on one gallon of gas.

It's one of the few films around to actually be positive about being in business and making money, and not degrading those who provide employment for people and products and services to others as evil.

I demand that you go see it. I order you to go see it. (If you ever get to read Atlas Shrugged you would understand how ridiculous those two sentences are, coming from me.)
