Food videos are no longer a good idea
It's clear that my food videos aren't informative, aren't entertaining and basically make me a laughingstock. Spending a considerable amount of time making a video, plus hours to edit and polish and even my best friend points out how badly I'm doing them.
I guess I'm far too tired to take the time and effort of making a video about me making something to eat, it's clear that I suck at it, and it's hard enough work to do.
I shall make these videos, no longer. I might finish the ones I did, or maybe not, but I doubt I'll make any new ones.

Eh, don't be a "me" and quit doing what you like doing just because people are busting your chops over it. At the end of the day, you're the one who gets to eat the eggs! Fuck 'em if they can't take a yolk!Tdarcos wrote:It's clear that my food videos aren't informative, aren't entertaining and basically make me a laughingstock. Not entertaining? Not entertaining!??!
Here, let me list for you the full list of things which have entertained me in 2011:
1. The cheeseburger video.
2. The omelet video.
3. That moment when you know you're falling asleep and don't have to deal with the nightmare of conscious existence for at least a few hours.
Sir, your videos are the definition of "entertaining".
And we demand more.

I'd like to reiterate Pinback's point. Whether you care to admit it or not, your videos ARE entertaining.
More, they provide a jumping point for discussion. I didn't know that no milk at all was how somebody ought to make a perfect omlette. I thought just a tiny bit of milk. But thanks to your video, we all know the truth now.
Admittedly, I haven't had an omlette since I saw your vid. Well, I had a bite of one in Taos, New Mexico this weekend, but it was not my omlette. It came- one second.
Why the Christ is "omlette" coming up as an incorrect spelling in Chrome? This is infuriating.
Anyway, keep making the videos. You're not a laughingstock, Christ. Paul. Tdarcos. Commander. We bust each others' balls around here, but it's in jest. Can we just do that, please? Can we just tease each other a little on the Internet??!
Can we do that a little bit? ?

Because of all the different ways people have spelled "omelette" (or "omelet") over the years, that is absolutely the worst one ever.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Why the Christ is "omlette" coming up as an incorrect spelling in Chrome?

My next one will be entitled "How to make a shit sandwich." Excuse me while I visit the bathroom, I need raw materials...
NOT.

I know where to find $30. But I'd have to make a video of crepe cooking first. I almost said I wasn't going to do it, just to be funny, because "Real men don't eat crepes," but then I remembered, it's "Real men don't eat quiche."Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Oh.pinback wrote:Because of all the different ways people have spelled "omelette" (or "omelet") over the years, that is absolutely the worst one ever.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:Why the Christ is "omlette" coming up as an incorrect spelling in Chrome?

What the hell is quiche, anyway?
