Take a look at a (consumer) 3D video camera on Amazon

Even if you're not doing much filming or wouldn't be interested in getting one - or can't afford it, like me - check out this consumer-grade video camera sold by Amazon.com designed to shoot 3D video. I was amazed that they're actually available to the general public.

I mean, I bought a perfectly good $79 video camera that generally I couldn't even use it in HD because the files were too graphically intense for Windows Media Maker to edit them on my old computer. (I had to shoot CIF, or standard mode.)

Now that I've upgraded my newer computer by boosting the memory from 1 gig to 3 and the disk space from .08 terabytes (that's 80 gig to you) to 2 terabytes, I believe I now should be able to try doing my YouTube videos in HD.

It just occurred to me that I can't use a 3D camera, I wouldn't know whether the shots were right. I'm blind in one eye, so I do not have depth perception. No parallax.

I apologize, I just made up a middle initial in an attempt to-- well, I don't know what it is.

But omelet making is a real interest of mine, so if you'd like, perhaps we can discuss techniques! I know I don't have it down yet, so any suggestions you might have would be great!

Maybe it was from your days of trying (badly) to be insulting and (mostly) failing to do so? :)

The video of me (badly) making an omelette is in nine files ranging from 4 1/2 to 50 meg in size, I have to edit them but, I've been busy working on a customer's project.

I said "badly" because I ended up making cheese scrambled eggs, which is what you get when you mess up a cheese omelette and it is still edible.

Probably doesn't make much sense any more, you can now buy contact lenses to change eye color. You can have green, blue, hazel and probably silver eyes, all in the same week.

If you notice you'll see I have a restricted license. That restriction code, if you were able to see the back of the license, would read "requires right-side mirror" because I'm blind in one eye.

If you get a chance to see Westworld, Yul Brenner is the gunslinger and his eyes sparkle. It's not CGI. Those are silver contacts; I read the book and Dr. Chrichton expains this.

I have one brown eye and one green eye. On my license application under eye color, I wrote "brown/green". My license says, "hazel". That happened in 1985. I ask them to correct it every time I get a new license (every four years) and they haven't yet. It also says I'm 135 pounds which, even if doubled, would be significantly low.

I sometimes wonder whether I should have listed my height as 6' 2", which is what I was when I could stand up more than two years ago, or 4' 6", which is what Home Depot now says every time I roll through the entrance!
