Song you like by bands you hate PART II

Post by Knuckles the CLown »

I hate these two fucking bands, they each have songs that make me HATE FUCKING music and they are filithy maggots I'm sure. By whoo boy do I love these two songs.

1st up Cage the Elephant with "Shake me down".

2nd up are the The Constelations with "December"

If you need a reminder how terrible both these bands are check out "Aint no rest for the wicked" by Cage the Elephant and "Felcia" by The Constelations. Both songs were played non-stop on ALT Nation via Sirius XM forcing me to cancel my subscription. I miss the Wilkow Majority
the last group complained, quite tellingly They said, "Why don't you have a spoon that just says 'Earth?' It would save time

I didn't like either of these; I mistook the titles for cover versions of other songs.

For the first one, I was thinking of the song by Gregory Abbott, "Shake You Down":
You read my mind
Girl I wanna shake you down
I could give you all the loving you need
Come on let me take you down
We'll go all the way to heaven
And the second one was September by Earth, Wind and Fire:
Now December found the love that we shared in September.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.

After being referred to Mumford and Sons and then Neon Indian as these super secret, alternative indie bands that only Europeans know of or can appreciate, I then heard them on constant rotation on the Alternative Selection of your favorite Satellite Radio service... The only conclusion I can come to is that I don't know what indie is anymore.

Oh wait... ITS NOW POP MUSIC YOU DUMB, ELITIST FUCKS
