Not a kids movie. At least not for little kids that were in the theater. We kept hearing 'I'm scared, mommy' from behind us.
It got pretty intense in a couple spots. Having the other mommy change into creepy spider lady will be giving the little kids nightmares tonight. heh heh heh.
Don't know how they are gonna get the 3D on DVD, if at all. It really helps the movie tho, instead of being a cheesy gimmick. I was surprised. Even the trailers were in 3D, kinda cool. probably gonna have glasses in the DVD box.

Anyway, it's a good movie. On par with 'Nightmare before christmas'. good animation. It has a Disney feel to it. Not a direct Disney feel but a sort of distant Disney ghost presence, hovering just behind the directors shoulder as he made the movie. Didn't really take away from the creep factor though. The book was pretty short so the movie didn't need to cut out a whole lot.
