I Have Five Weeks To Learn How To Play Golf

Dudes, you gotta help me. I am traveling to where golf was invented shortly, and I want to play golf. I also don't want to get shot.

What can I do to simply SEEM competent at golf? Driving ranges? I honestly don't care if I get the ball in the hole, I just want to be able to hit the golf balls and have them go in the air.

Remember, you can hit the ball any old way you want and stroll downrange to a particular point, remove another golf ball from the bag and hit that closer to the pin. Work on your putting and maybe some chip shots and you'll be golden. Well, fools golden, but still shiny and all...
