[Firefly] One of the creepiest things ever
Here you go.
The beginning, anyway.
Even cancelled for like four years and on Youtube, it's amazing how good everything about this show was. I demand that Pinback get the DVDs from Netflix and watch this show. I demand it.

I resisted Firefly for the longest time. I didn't even want to go to Serenity, which was my first exposure to any of that. Any of it. It/that.
So, Benjamin, I understand your resistance. But watch the one called "Out of Gas" (for instance, I mean, most of them are great, but there IS an asterisk here --> *) and if you aren't charmed I will eat my copy of Serenity with hot sauce.
*I think the two hour original episode is not necessarily the best one to start out with. But I could be wrong.

I loved it while it was on and would probably see another movie (if they made one which they say isn't impossible) on opening night, but the fans have gone past the point of "right on, I'm with you" to just sort of annoying. You know they actually made a documentary to pat themselves on the back for helping the movie get made?

I did not know that. I am a little hesitant to bash it for three reasons:
1) I felt like a jerk when I spoke before having any facts about the BBS Doc
2) The "We Made Firefly" doc could have just as much care and love behind it
3) If it doesn't, if it's like worthy of ridicule, well, the average Firefly fan doesn't give shit up easily, and I'd prefer to not have my house egged well into my 50s.
