Hello all,
It is my first post :)
I want your thoughts on this:
Do you feel that because your parents may have supported you when you were younger, that you "owe" it to them to support them now?
(Pay the bills they run up etc, just because they did it for you when you were younger and unable to work)
Thanks.

Well, if ones parents are the unwashed, paper bags inside of plastic bags, junk all over the house, refusing to move into assisted living when it is clearly the only real choice because they live in thier same clothes for months and cannot even leave the house anymore because of the six steps leading to the sidewalk, plus they have no money because they spend all the pension and social security money on mail order junk in the first week and are right slobs.. then I would say no. not obligated. Plus the fact that they cleaned out the college bank account by stealing checks from the back of the bank book...No, not obligated.

Not sure what was going on here. Nothing was for sale, so I guess it was not spam. I have no idea how people find this place. I know what they do when they post to this place: that is a given. A time-honored tradition. But what made this person decide that this BBS was the right one to get some advice amazes me.
