Don't do it until he tells the J1 story.

Bem, that's not how we do things here at the NEW Jolt Country dot Com.

http://www.joltcountry.com/downloads/Butterworth - It Hurts To Cry.mp3
http://www.joltcountry.com/downloads/Butterworth - Pursed Lips.mp3
http://www.joltcountry.com/downloads/Butterworth - Puppy.mp3

... OK, it looks like you'll have to copy and paste those URLs. Sorry.

But tell us the Journal One story, Gerrit!

So hey, CGG... who is the singer on these tracks? Are they samples?

I'm glad you asked, ICJ!

The singer is Butterworth co-founder Andy Highsmith. However, I do split singing duties with him on the first track.

Oh, and we'll both be singing on the new track due out sometime in the next week or so. Just a little something for you to look forward to, ICJ.

Andy Highsmith is the "I pet the puppy and the puppy responds with *joy*" guy? I thought it was Jim Jones, of Jonestown fame, personally.

I can't wait for the new tracks. I'll post an old Beaver favorite for everyone tomorrow.

I'll post "Evil Twin" tonight.

Candystripe just isn't finished. I know it's been 6 yaers, but still.

I remain psyched.

(BTW, after finishing the Hugo game I can now deal with the other things going on in my life, like looking for more BUTTERWORTH!)

And I see I utterly failed in posting a song. Evil Twin tonight... promise!

Regrettably, the Butterworth project is currently on-hold while Andy is away in rehab. The second eerie screams about the bugs BUGGS!! under his skin cease and he returns safely to the Atlanta area, why, I'm almost certain the recording equipment will be fired up once more.

Robb, you seem like a real nice, so, tell you what I'm gonna do. I'll e-mail you the last snippet of a song Andy was cooking up mere days before being shipped to a rehabilitation facility outside of Chicago.

The song was to be titled 'Black Lips'.

I guess I have two questions.

CGG, do you play keyboard on these songs? And - do you remember the song you guys did that I grabbed for the opening to Necrotic Drift? I believe it was called "Untitled" or "Track 01." Was that a song that the two of you made as well? Pseudo Band was the band's name!
