Welcome to the Bay Hill International!

Post by TigerCast 2004 »

Welcome to Bay Hill, site of Arnold Palmer's annual tournament, and what has of late been simply Tiger Woods Appreciation Week, as our hero has won the last four years at this very event, and this year looks to be the first golfer -- ever -- to win the same event five straight years.

After the first round, Tiger is but one shot back of the lead. As his pattern lately has been to start off weakly and then charge into the top ten, with a strong start like this, I think it's fairly safe to say that this particular tournament is over.

See you next year, as Tiger goes for SIX!

I think it's sad that the Yankees always get the best players.

What's wrong with rooting for the underdog for a change, TC2K4?

Your continual comparison of ETW to the Yankees is as flawed and inappropriate as it is annoying.

The Yankees use lots of money to cobble together a bunch of good players to produce an occasional winner.

Tiger Woods used 28 years of tireless effort, dedication, study, and physical and mental training to become the greatest golfer who has ever lived.

In my opinion, one is admirable, one is not. Let's see if you can figure out which is which.

Well, we here at TigerCast 2004 would sure like to thank Mr. Woods for making us look like idiots, and laying a big ol' egg on the second day of the Bay Hill International, shooting a 74 and falling way the hell behind in his race for an ill-fated fifth shot at the title.

We here at TigerCast 2004 are a long way from committing suicide, as the Masters is still a few weeks away, but we here at TigerCast 2004 are none too pleased by this development.

None too pleased at all.

Tiger losing on the same day as you deciding life was too 'dry'. It's ok, we understand.
