I know that, and I even pointed it out then. The Valdez was a tanker, not a pipeline-laying vessel.
Also, the accident involving the Exxon Valdez is considered the worst drunk driving accident in history.
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.
