Ableton does not save all your changes. It has to do that to be a serious DAW.
Because I can't find the fucking thing, you have to right click HERE to disable the volume automation:

I will now do that, save my song and see if it comes back.

Or even longer. I just had an interesting thought. Consider the following: someone downloads a copy of Windows from Microsoft's website, then installs it in a virtual machine under QEMU or Virtualbox (or uses a pre-built virtual image), installs the Mixcraft software, without starting it, shuts down the virtual machine, creating a frozen image of that virtual environment, makes a copy of the image with the additional software, then spins it back up, and runs the software for the first time, now beginning the 7 day free trial. All work is saved regularly to external disk: a real device like an SD card and reader, Jump Drive, or portable hard drive. On the 7th day, save all work, shut down and erase that virtual machine, copy the original virtual machine image, spin it up, then go right back and start Mixcraft for the first time, beginning a new and different 7 day trial, load your files from external storage, then lather, rinse, repeat.AArdvark wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:57 am Mixcraft. I believe they are up to 9.something now. Download it from their website snd try it free for a week.
When you buy things from Amazon you gotta scroll all the way over, sometimes it cuts off the whole title.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 3:02 pm Ok, through no roughness of my own, the USB connector on the KeyStation Mini32 broke off.
Dude legit I bet my sister can help you trouble-shoot some of this. She works with much the same "gear" as the hipsters say.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 10:56 pm I can hear the Korg synth in Ableton but OF COURSE it won't record it. Why would it record it? Why would it do the one fucking thing it is supposed to do?
