TV Hate

Post by AArdvark »

I tried watching a National Geographic show about a group of explorers trying to find the burial site of the Franklin expidition, the lost Northwest Passage guys in 1845.

Ten minutes in I Googled to see if anyone had actually found the guy, it would have been news. Look how excited everyone got because pictures of the guy are at auction.

I went to bed. My wife can finish watching. I want results, not struggles from television. Its like watching that Oak Island show where they never find treasure. I don't care about how hard a time they are having. They chose to sail in a 36 foot boat from Maine. They could have flown there in two days.

Bite me, television.

That Oak Island show is so boring. Every time it comes on I say "Y'all aint finding shit on that island" and change the channel.

I wish someone would recommend some really good shows.
When you need my help because I'm ruining everything, don't look at me.

Suits and White Collar. They were on USA and are now streamable at no extra charge on Amazon Prime.

Bosch, a police procedural exclusively on Prime Video.

Binge watching all three will be both entertaining and perhaps informative and take a few days.
Given the general rise in expenses and fall in the typical standard of living, the future ain't what it used to be.
