Re: 2020!
It's been trying, but I'm getting through it.
My first instinct was to go with it's been very difficult, but nobody in my immediate family has contracted Covid-19, and my income hasn't been directly affected, so I dialed it back a notch. We've cancelled vacations, dealt with home schooling, moved a kid into (and now out of) college dorms, missed an entire season of garage sales and thrifting, spent less time with friends and more time on Zoom than I ever wanted to... but at the end of the day, those are mostly first world problems, and things I will get past. As mentally exhausting as 2020 has been, I once spent a summer in Oklahoma living in a mobile home without air conditioning and living off of pilfered Ramen noodles, so things could be (and have been) worse.
