Several years ago my kid bought a Chevy truck from the 90s that needed a lot of work. He systematically replaced the side mirrors, removed the door panels, fixed the heater, and did a few other upgrades all by following tutorials on YouTube. For my 16th birthday, along with my first (10 year old) car, my dad included a Chilton's manual and JC Whitney's catalog for ordering parts. It is amazing that tutorials for everything are available on YouTube for free.
I'm a hack at playing the guitar and have always wanted to go back and relearn the basics. It's all there on YouTube... all that's missing is the free time.
