I'm impressed and more than a little proud that you went on a real date with a real girl. They have ratings for violence and sexual content and I think that you have a future in rating movies as to whether or not they will totally ruin the evening if you take a girl to it. They have G and PG, why not G and whether or not you'll need (wait for it, wait for it) GHB?

I took a young lady to see this as a first date. I wouldn't recomend it. TERRIBLE! Usualy any movie is good just cause it is in the theatre, not this one. It drags on, the characters are unlikeable, there are too many scenes of Jim Carey contorting his face trying to "act", the first hour with the actors playing double duty is just unwatchable. The SURPRISE ending just sucks. I'm a sucker for the goofy actor trying to be serious, I enjoyed Spanglish (Adam Sandlers serious attempt) very much and Truman show was good, I would avoid this steaming pile of a movie very much so.
Oh and as far as the date went, it left me and the young lady with just an awkward walk back to the car. I should've picked the Chris Rock movie :(
