Every goddamn time there is a new person I have to hear the bitter assholes in that league instantly start making the, "That's the worst pick ever!!!" commentary. Every freaking time.
It's also somehow possible to make a terrible pick in the 6th round of a 12 person league. I don't know how, but it is.
The best part is seeing someone just snap about all the crappy drafting going on and then they themselves go and take an Eagles receiver or a Jet running back or find a way to take a Cardinal Offensive Lineman with thier next pick.
I am basically surrounded by negativity in the whole of my existance, Greg, and I do my best to hang around nice people like yourself so that I stay sane.
The first year the Milker was in the league he was absolutely barrelled by the dicks in that league about his shitty drafting. He took second place out of twelve (1st and 2nd pay money). He also won the league outright at one point.
Last year we weren't using CBS and I fucked up and traded my first pick (Culpepper) later in the draft for someone's 3rd and 5th. It ended up being Roy Williams (the shitty one) and Vanderjagt. Since we didn't have CBS's software, I had to update an FTP site after each pick, go through Yahoo IM to do the draft and then deal with the two guys who were doing it through the phone. Not that there's much of an excuse. At the time it was the worst trade in history... but then Culpepper blew through his knee ligaments like they were juicy cocks. (I am trying to say that he's a homo here and I hate him.)
But according to the league filled with angry, offensive people with absolutely no tact whatsoever, the season doesn't even need to be played after the draft is done. We used to do pre-season rankings of each other's teams but stopped due to the problems it caused.
