So, has anyone besides me been watching? And if so, holy fuck, anyone watching Germany dismantle Brazil?

I've been watching up to the point where Greece lost to Costa Rica. No quarter-finals for us, then.

I Am Disappoint.

I would rather eat a soccer ball than watch one of those matches.

The only way I can tell they're still playing is by seeing all those Google doodles on the homepage.

I think it's time the rest of the world gave up the football / soccer thing. It's soccer. That's what your sport is, soccer fans.

I want to strenuously stress to gsdgsd that I enjoy hearing about it, reading about it and getting takes from intelligent people talking about it. I like hearing about how people from various countries do and how their fans react. And I guess there was a serial biter?

I just have no takes to offer myself because of how ignorant I am on soccer. Maybe... maybe we could ask questions in this thread, like with the alcohol one?

No, it's football. I don't watch it anyway though. It's boring.

BUT IT'S FOOTBALL, GODDAMMIT.

Yes! The soon-to-be-former star of my favorite team, Liverpool. If you wondered what's more embarrassing than cheering for the team on the wrong end of a 43-8 Super Bowl, this may be it.
