X Mans: Future Past Days Or Whatever

Plenty of forgettable fun. One Quicksilver scene in a kitchen which is NOT forgettable, and the best part of the movie. I don't like or care about the X Mans but the movies keep being pretty good for fun popcorn fare.
The important thing to note, though, is that this is the first time I have seen two movies
in the theater, in the same weekend since
this webpage.
Hard to believe, but true.

By the way, re-reading that website, 17 years later, here are the modifications I would make:
Alien Resurrection is probably not quite as good as I gave it credit for, though I still agree that the last 20 minutes are heart-wrenching.
Mimic is probably better than I gave it credit for.
GI Jane is probably not as good as I said, but I haven't seen it since so hard to say.
Contact is rated too highly.
Men in Black is rated too low.
Other than that, I continue to agree with myself.
(My favorite part is you can watch me becoming a David Fincher fan in the "The Game" review, and this was before Fight Club even happened.)

X-Men: Days of Future Past was a great little two-part comic that came out of nowhere. Just, bamf, time travel story. I loved it.
It might be the only time travel story, except for Looper and all those Red Dwarf episodes where they did it, where the time travel was any good. And even then, in Red Dwarf it was just for the jokes.
We were gonna see this on Friday, but it wasn't playing at the right time, so we saw something called Maleficent instead. Angelina Jolie is an attractive woman.
I guess I should see this X-Men movie in the theater. I work next to a theater.
